A long-awaited feature for customers has been announced by the town of Linden: the ability to pay utility bills online. The new site can be accessed by visiting Lindentn.org. Users will notice an 'online bill pay' tab at the top of the screen.
"We are glad to finally offer this service to our customers" says Linden Mayor Wess Ward. "Our citizens have been asking for an online option for quite some time, and we are happy to see it go live" The Mayor says.
Users will need to have their account number ready when using the service for the first time. Like most services, users will need to create an account during the first time using the service. Step-by-step instructions are provided. The service accepts payment for both water and natural gas services.
"We know this service will save time and hassle for our customers. We know that every minute you can spend with your family or friends and not running errands to pay bills is time well spent. I am glad to see my team and the Board Of Alerman work together on this project to see this helpful service come to life" Mayor Ward said.
Questions about the new service can be directed to Bethany Dabbs at Linden City Hall. The service is now active, officials say.
